Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:    

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at De Anza Middle School! We are so excited to partner with you and your students as we embark on this new school year. We are committed to supporting your child every step of the way—fostering not just academic growth, but the confidence and habits they need to thrive here and beyond. Please review the important information below to help your family prepare for a smooth and successful start.

At De Anza, everyone learns, everyone grows, everyone belongs, and together, everyone succeeds.

  • Communication & After-School Program

  • School Webpage: Please visit our school webpage regularly for updated information on important upcoming events.
  • ParentSquare: We use a parent and family communication app called “ParentSquare”, for schoolwide 
  • communication. Please ensure that you are registered for ParentSquare to receive and respond to messages from De Anza.  This will make it easy to get information from the school and to communicate with your child’s teachers.  We will have more information on ParentSquare at the start of the school year.
  • Q ParentConnection:  Parents and guardians will be able to monitor student grades and attendance using Q ParentConnection, which you can access at https://parentconnect.omsd.net.

We are excited to work with our families to support student success in the upcoming school year. If you have questions, we encourage you to check our website in the coming weeks, call the school at (909) 986-8577, or email us at deanza@omsd.net.  Our school office will be open for visits and calls starting on July 27, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, and then from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. every school day starting August 5, 2026.
